Brian Ó hEadhra offers a wide range of professional training and tutoring services, specialising in Gaelic language, culture, music, and communication. With extensive experience in Gaelic development and project management, Brian provides tailored training for individuals and organisations, including Gaelic language classes, awareness training, and communication skills development. He also offers mentoring, coaching, and project support, ensuring clients receive personalised guidance to achieve their goals. Brian is a visiting freelance lecturer at Queen's University Belfast where he tutors Scottish Gaelic language and culture to second-year Irish Gaelic students.  He also regularly teaches Scottish Gaelic to Irish language speakers and Scottish Gaelic learners on Easter and summer short courses at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, Scotland's National Gaelic college on Skye.

Join Highland-based acclaimed Gaelic singer, Brian Ó hEadhra, to learn Scottish Gaelic songs each week online. You will learn traditional and new Gaelic songs in an enjoyable and informative manner. This class is aimed at anyone who seeks to explore the rich traditions of these islands as well as some contemporary songs.  We will learn voice techniques and how best to present songs to audiences.

From total beginners to intermediate players, learn the steps to become a skilled accompanist to your favourite songs and genres.  Standard tuning.  

Guitar Accompaniment to Scottish and Irish Music & Song

For those who love trad and want to be able to join in on sessions and play music with family and friends, these classes will cover all the chord progressions, rhythms, and styles.  Available for DADGAD or standard tuning.  

Bodhran

Learn to play along to traditional tunes and songs with this iconic traditional instrument.  Various styles, rhythms and approaches will be explored.  

Songwriting
